How to apply for admission to our school;
The closing date for applications for Reception Class entry in September 2023 will be 15 January 2023. The admissions policy for the school year 2023-24 applies to this year group and can be found below. If parents are applying under criteria 4, 5 or 7 of our admissions policy, a Supplementary Form must be completed, which can be found attached at the bottom of this page.
The admissions policy for 2022-23 applies to any in-year admissions between September 2022 and August 2023. If parents are new to the Thorpe area and are looking for a place in our school, you must apply online to Surrey and also complete one of our in-year admissions forms, which can be found below or are available from the school office. For in-year applications, parents will be notified of the result of the application within a maximum of 15 days. If your child is refused a place, the reason will be clearly explained and the appeals process outline to you.

NB: Appeals will not start being heard until after the relevant closing date has passed.
Appeals lodged after these dates will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline or 30 school days of being lodged, whichever is the later date.
Appellants will be sent notification of their appeal hearing at least 10 clear school days in advance of the hearing. Appellants will be sent a copy of the school's case 7 clear working days in advance of the hearing.
Appellants must ensure that any further evidence not included with their initial appeal, is received by 5pm on the day preceding three clear working days prior to the appeal hearing date. Any additional evidence or information received after this date might not be considered at the appeal hearing.
In year or immediate entry appeals
Appeals resulting from in year admission applications will be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.
