We are delighted to publish our latest Ofsted report for our ‘happy, inclusive school’, rating us as a Good school.
We are proud that the Inspectors recognise how dedicated we all are and how we aspire for every child in our school to be a successful learner and be provided with the best quality education.
They acknowledged that we have remained committed to improvement as we have undertaken the challenge to grow from Infant to a successful all through Primary School. The Inspectors also agreed with the majority of our judgements and supported our assessments regarding our areas for development that we had already identified and acknowledged that we were making progress against those priorities.
As part of the inspection they questioned us about our 2018 KS2 SATs results. They acknowledged that this was a cohort of only 13 children, 60% of whom had additional needs and they had made progress against the national average.
We will continue to work hard to ensure that the areas of development are addressed so that we provide a quality education for all. In particular, continuing with our existing projects to ensure our most able pupils flourish and that our attendance improves.
