Safeguarding at Thorpe

At Thorpe Church of England Primary School we are fully committed to ensuring that our children’s safety is a priority at all times. All staff, volunteers and all outside agencies are subject to statutory vetting and DBS checks, and the school maintains an up-to-date and comprehensive Single Central Record. During the school day all adults and visitors must sign in at reception and wait to be given a visitors’ badge.  If you come into school, visitors must contact a member of staff; sign in at the office and collect a badge.

We have three Designated Safeguarding Officers; Mrs Southgate, Headteacher is DSL, Miss White, Assistant Head is Deputy DSL and Mrs Neathey, PA to Headteacher is Deputy DSL.  Any 'Cause for Concern' should be highlighted with the DSLs.
