Working together means schools can:

  • Give better support to our families
  • Support each other in school improvement
  • Share information and ideas
  • Save costs
  • Attend training locally
  • Gain access to better training opportunities
  • Agree consistent procedures

What do we do?

Each year we undertake joint working. Our projects include:

  • Year 2 multi-sports competition
  • Year 2 football festival
  • Induction programme and on-going training for new teaching assistants
  • Joint Inset training days for teachers
  • Training for school leaders
  • Training to improve skills and knowledge of classroom staff
  • Meetings for groups of staff such as teachers, bursars, SENCos
  • Purchase of resources, some of which are shared
  • Organise support for new initiatives
  • Create joint school policies

These are a selection of quotes from Headteachers about the impact of projects that ran during last year:

“We’ve been really pleased – we’ve received positive feedback on all activities we’ve participated in”

“Brilliant to work together on something so specific and know we are being consistent across our network”
